Maori/pacifica Festival

Recently a group of our children performed in the Festival. They did very well and we were all proud of them. This is the 7th year that we have taken part in this concert.

Our new vege garden

We are learning about living in a sustainable way.

Here is our new vegetable garden that we have just planted out.

Our children are enjoying watering and tending to our plants.

We'll have to wait and see.

Jack is our new bird. He loves to make a big noise especially when the children are singing. He uses an outside voice.
Sometimes he has to spend time outside just so we can hear ourselves think.

Baking Day

June 08
Afternoon Session baking day.
Children have found that it is very
difficult to see what is going on in
the basin when you are so small.
Next time we will have to lower the
table won't we. They were learning
to work together and to take turns stirring. But Yummy
biscuits.

Dancing Fairies

The children have been dressing up in the fairy dresses and prancing around like ballet dances.

The Train Trip to Palmeston

Today our kindergarten joined some other kindergartens to take a trip to Palmeston. The Easter Bunny was also on the train. It was a long day and everyone was really tired when we arrived back. But what a fun day.
